Character: Kamper is something special- Not only does she have one of the most unique coloring we have ever seen, she is a very special and sweet baby girl.
Kamper LOVES and SOAKES attention and love in like a sponge- She can sit for hours in your lap and enjoys being petted and being close to somebody gentle who talks the baby talk in a soft voice to her. She is unique in her way to sit, not like a greyhound, no, she sits like a real dog-on her hint honches-
She loves being around other greyhounds, loves to run and play with them, loves to enjoy the good life in the fenced in yard.This little young lady is very special to all of us and we want a very special good home for her. It might be yours!

Character: Raven has come, seen and conquered-that is with her foster family who are all, the 2- legged members and the 4legged memebers, madly in love with her.
She is such a sweet, lovable lady! She is bright and adorable. She loves her foster brother, Clyde, and imitates everything he does, so we would love to see her go to a home with another greyhound in it. If you are not paying attention, she is on the couch or the bed, so definitely she has to be permitted on furniture in her future. She is making up for lost time at the track by playing with stuffies all day long. She will take them and make a big pile of them in the middle of the room and then move them all to another spot and pile them up. She has the most amazing big ears, when they are standing up they are almost comical. She has warmed her way into our hearts and she surely can do the same for you. She gets along great with kids, and she cannot get enough of them and being petted by them. She is a total love and a keeper!

Character: Flash is a wonderful greyhound and we are lucky and happy to have been able to get him into our group. He is very well behaved with easy manners, and took to retirement as such a young age in no time. He enjoys running in the fenced in yard for fun instead for his life. He discovered stuffies in no time and gets a kick out of playing with them. While he gets along with the other dogs in the house, he loves and thrives with attention and would do best as only dog in a house. A young family with teenage kids, a retired couple with lots of time and love to give, a single person who works from home or wants to come home to a companion who patiently at the door after you pulled into the garage, would be the perfect match for this gorgeous boy.

Character: Nigel is the ultimate perfect greyhound gentleman! He is what everybody would want in a greyhound-
He is handsome, sweet,loving. He thrives on attention without being needy, loves to play, loves cuddle time, loves people and is a leaner. He is very intelligent and can figure out what people want and need and what is permitted and what is not! He is very obidient and a very quick learner.
He will be there for you on rainy days when all you want is stay inside and spend some lazy time in front of the tv or read a book. He will be there for you when the sun is shining and you go on long walks with him in the neighborhood. He will be there for you when life is gloomy and tuff to handle, and he will show you the silver lining and he will be there for you when the sunshine warms your heart. He is calm and perfect and anybody who will share life with Nigel is a very lucky person- he is a keeper and should be treasured!

Character: Hardy is one of the Texan refugees we took in! He is a total love and a sweetheart through and through!
Hardy, who is a victim of divorce x 2- should be a life coach- He can teach you how to make lemonade out of lemons. He takes life in strides and takes every day as it comes, some days are predictable, some days are more adventerous,such as private plane rides, some mean meeting new people, new greyhound friends, even a new state he will call Home. Hardy is an extremely well adjusted, easy go lucky going little man (he weighs only 65 Lbs) and as colorful as his coat is, as colorful is his personality. He will make the sun shine in anybody's heart, as long as you pay a lot of attention to him, as long as he always has stuffies and lots of love around him, he is going to be fine. He loves his cousins in his foster home (they are his true cousins, that is another story) but if he would have a family who is mostly at home, he can easily be an only dog, he does have to have a fenced in yard because playing and running out there is part of Hardy's life.
